I love looking around the web for inspiration when I’m feeling sluggish or my routine starts to get old.

Here are some of my favorite sites:

No Meat Athlete
Before I was a carnivorous cyclist, I was a vegetarian runner. This is one of the first sites I went to for nutrition and fitness advice. I really enjoy some of the older content.

The Fitnessista
Gina Harney, aka the Fitnessista, is a powerhouse. Mom, blogger, fitness instructor, author, etc, etc. Her site has some great workouts and fitness info, as well as plenty of “lifestyle” chatter to make her feel like an old friend.

Peanut Butter Fingers
My favorite fitness blog. Julie Fagan writes about life, new motherhood, food, fashion, and fitness. Her workouts are killer!

Mark’s Daily Apple
I’m not paleo, but the diet and lifestyle definitely inform my habits and nutrition. I love the success stories and some of the recipes on this site, as well as the great nutrition discussion. Certainly a must-read for anyone considering or trying a paleo/ primal lifestyle.

Run Eat Repeat
Motivating, fun, and funny, Monica from RER shares her running and eating escapades with flair.

Mentality WOD
Great site that combines mindfulness and fitness advice.

Joy the Baker
Beautiful photos, delicious recipes, and well-informed commentary to boot, Joy the Baker is one of my favorite indulgences (and you must check out her side project Drake on Cake).

101 Cookbooks
Heidi Swanson shares artful photographs, snapshots of her life on the beautiful California coast, and recipes that are usually unique, intriguing, and healthy.

Kath Eats Real Food
Also known as KERF, I love this blog and blogger for many reasons, including that we both live in Charlottesville, VA.

Fit and Feminist
Caitlin Constantine is basically what I want to be when I grow up. She’s a triathlete,  Boston-Qualifying marathoner, and an unabashedly bold writer who juggles blogging, training, and a full-time job beautifully.
